Any delay in fixing the results of matches and finals may cause for unrests internationally as more international viewers are watching this world cup matches. The way matches are conducted so far are great and FIFIA needs a whole hart congratulation for this. Many unexpected turns and defeats are addingm to every day surprises.

Mike described Uruguay as 'one of those teams that can sneak up on you'. haha. Uruguay are two-time winners of the World Cup and have been looking like fierce contenders throughout the competition with their star-strikers Forlan and Suarez. You guys you should know your football better!!! I watch football pretty much only when the world cup is on and I knew that. tsktsk.

Hi Hala

This isn't about the World Cup and I wonder why direct comments are no longer permitted on iDesk instead being replaced by click-on yes/no opinions several weeks old. Is this the new historical iDesk approach to news?

Do you really want to alienate all viewers concerned with real news and intelligent analysis?

And although I appreciate the leg shot (yours are certainly nice) , I would prefer a bikini shot with you lounging with a World Cup futbol on a lovely beach while informing us of the latest catastrophe if you are going the tabloid route. Why fool around?

Actually I respect you and your work too much to say more than that you should defend .your integrity.

Bast regards,

in my case, every body knows that there is no regulation in iran because governors think can cheat the irannain people easily.
in iran every things are under control of governors and people don't have any rights;unfortunatly, they changed our vote and we couldn't pay off.

Vida   August 30th, 2010 4:13 pm ET

Be sure that they never counted the votes. If they had been able to do it so soon(in one night)they were able to recount them again so as to satisfy the people.Eveyone knows they are the bigest liars &cheeters that Iranian have ever seen.

Betty White has found a new popularity bcaeuse she starred in a very popular Snickers commercial during the Super Bowl. In the commercial, she was playing football and getting thrown in mud (that was a body double), while the guys (her teammates) chastised her for playing like Betty White. With her newly found popularity, there has been a petition on Facebook for SNL to ask Betty White to host an episode. The petition has reached a very large number of signers, but SNL has not asked her to host yet. If they did, she would say yes.
