It is good that the USA becomes inclusive with Rissia not excluding Russia as this creates conflict.
Obviously Russia must move more toward implementing democratic principles but then so does China etc etc.

Excellent and laudable decision from President Obama.
This decision will surely minimize the global tension generated by the previous american regime.

We in Ecuador, applaud this magnifecent manifesto.

Kind regards,

I am a upset about your report regarding the missile defense system, because it depicts the Czech Republic as 'disappointed' that the system will be scrapped..

PLEASE note that the citizens of the Czech Republic were strongly AGAINST the missile system – a few politicians supported it, but their position did NOT reflect the opinions of a majority of Czech citizens, as reflected by polls. There were groups calling for a referendum, which the then-Czech government did not respond to – because a referendum would have been strongly AGAINST the system.

The feeling among the general population was that the system, located in the CR, would only have taken a nation seen internationally as 'neutral' into a sensitive position against both Iran and Russia. There was serious negative feeling among most citizens about this.

Please do more research before reporting that the Czech Republic (as a whole) are not in favour of scrapping the system!!!

Judging from practical point of view cooperation between United States and Russia is absolutely essential to decimate international terrorism and contain spread of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).

It may be prudent for United States to associate Russia in its anti-missile defence plans at least in terms of Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) radar coverage and TELemetry INTelligence (TELINT) sharing to tackle the evil intentions of rogue nations; side-by-side enhancing mutual trust and respect with Russia .

It seems to me like a well thought out decision. With all that our new president has on his plate, discarding this irresponsible missile defense shield, proposed by trigger happy republicans, seems like the sensible thing to do. Engaging Russia instead of antogonizing her, and most of the world, is a win-win position for the US to take.

D financiers/investors in that missile def system won't like it. I guess right now they're moving to get it back on track. Or kick out Obama.

Maybe they can even get Obama impeached. Of course, using other justifications. They won't be silly and say they want Obama out because he scrapped their anticipated huge profits.

Most likely, right now, they're calling their contacts in mass media (cable tv, newspapers, magazines, radio, talk shows like glenn beck, hannity and the like) to churn out anti Obama news/propaganda.

It's a big money loss for them if it's really scrapped.

The first really intelligent foreign-policy decision of the Obama Era.

Some problems with the Polish-Czech Neo-Cold War Bushian absurdity were :
1) It never could have worked, it was techno-garbage.
2) There is really nothing for it work against.
3) The North Koreans are not yet – and never will be – stupid enough to send a missile across Russia towards Europe or the Land 'O Freedom Folks
4) Iran, like North Korea, both of which would dearly love to have long-range atomic missiles, are surrounded by atomic armed American land, sea and air forces which could destroy any real threat from either in a few hours ( a bit less in the case of Iran if America's paramour, Israel, got involved )
4) It pissed off the Russians for no good reason -they are already paranoid enough. Let them figure out a few things without advice from incompetent Americans.

The advantages of the "missile defense system" were:

1) If you work for, benefit from, are a suppler to, or own stock in a military or government entity related to the project, you might have made some impressive money.

2) Multi-national neo-neandercons could wave some flags

Tant pis.

My comment is on the way people at CNN glorify barbaric murderers as suicide bombers. The more you post their comments on international media, the more you make look relevant and their aim of instilling dread in the life of you Americans. Know what? ignor words or comments from these wild beasts and watch how relative individual calm will return to the average American.

Again, I wish to advice those spineless jellies such as being represented by that heretic Baptist preacher who openly decleared that he hates Obama and wish him dead, that they should please try and read the Bible very well. One million fanatics cannot bend or stop the plan of God for any of His child, not to talk of America. Why do these illitrates think because they are white in colour so it is their right wash their ignorance in public square? if any thing happens to Obama do you think we will just "sit down look"? those who have ear let them hear! "OBAMA CARRY GO NO SHAKIN" Rock.
