Getting a weapon in the USA doesn't seem to be a difficult thing, so maybe there should be a better stricter gun control. But I guess it won’t serve much if there isn’t a better student counseling at schools.
It's a complicated issue, since most of these kids problems start at home.

Stricter gun control keeps wannabe-gangsters and emotional acts from becoming a danger.
Tighter school security makes prisons out of schools.
Only counseling, handling the source of all problems, can be a solution.

i´m a german student myself so i know that there are very strict gun controls in germany. It´s not comparable to USA... but still it can be stricter... that´s what i voted for...
but still there should be a tighter school campus security... at my school, there not a single surveillance camera, so that could be one thing to change

Rejection by peers, teachers and parents causes aggression in adolescents. It is very important that a school have policies in place that protects learners from rejection by ensuring that the school community readily accepts minority groups (religious, race, sexual, disabled) without discrimination and protect their rights. I have a deep sense that this young man was rejected by females or insulted by female teachers. An understanding of mutual respect at schools should be followed by clear boundaries stipulated in school policies.

Affluence fueled by modern materialistic society. Getting all that you want without having to struggle for it, may lead to emptiness making life a meaningless waste of time. Misery sets in and then the whole world seems a miserable place. This is followed by suicidal tendencies with the desire to draw attention to one's misery.

These shootings are occuring in the more affluent societies.
