CNN TV SCHEDULE ANCHORS REPORTERS CONTACT US

Hello everyone...

My apologies for the absence of updated blogs on our site. We promise to change this and improve our efforts in the coming weeks. And, here's why:

Starting next Monday, the people behind the scenes are switching up their roles. On your televisions, the changes will be mostly unnoticeable. The presenters remain the same - Isha will host the earlier edition of I-Desk, while Hala hosts the later edition. But, behind the scenes, the producers are tweaking their duties. Terri the Wall Producer, who helped launch the I-Desk show last year, is moving up to main producer of Isha's programme. It's a well deserved promotion. Meanwhile, the man handling those duties now, David the Producer, is moving over to Hala's programme. And, the current producer of Hala's programme, Javier the Senior Producer, is going to move over to Isha's programme as the Supervisor.

So, what does this mean for you? Bottom line: A little bit of a different feel to both shows, but nothing dramatic. And, more importantly - A more active focus on this blog site, as well as our Facebook page (Search: CNN I-Desk). Hala and Javier will share duties, to keep you posted on what's happening at the I-Desk.

And, as always, we want YOUR feedback. Let us know what you like, don't like, what works, doesn't work, etc. We love hearing from you!

See you at the I-Desk!

I look forward to the continued success and expansive news reports overseas and around the world presented by Isha and Hala in a open and non-biased way which is interesting, provocative and entirely refreshing.

Keep on reporting. You are amazingly wonderful journalists.

The problem with I-desk is that it freezes some times, specially when the International news is very active with boiling ex-posers daily.

“Postings in Rotation”, interesting.

Best of Luck.

Why only starting next Monday? That's when Miss "boss" is coming back? Just joking. I miss "Miss boss".😉
Let's see if we can find the differences or improvements.;)

It seems like police forces overseas have skipped past rubber bullets for crowd control and are now using machine guns with full clips on full auto to knock down protests!

Last night as the sun set on the gathering protesters in Thailand, the government brought in Snipers with night scopes on the darkened rooftops who proceeded to shoot protest leaders in the head with 'head shots'. The Thai troops on the ground used their machine guns on the gathered protesters to drive them back.

This technique was previously used with success in Tibet. I wouldn't be surprised if this same use of machine guns for crowd control is going to be used soon in Afghanistan if protests expand against recent US military midnight raids which resulted in a large number of civilian deaths. Police using machine guns to break up protests, coming to a city near you, go figure!

Despite my stated concern and information on Vaccines sometimes containing Animal Virus's which the consuming public should be aware of and consider before having your children and yourself injected and given that ANIMAL VIRUS, those posts and concerns were repeatedly deleted from CNN's Dr. Gupta's and Anderson Coopers Blog Comments on those previous subjects, go figure!

Today, it is entirely refreshing to see that the FDA has now disclosed that Rotavirus vaccines made by GlaxoSmithKline Plc and Merck & Co Inc are in fact contaminated with a pig virus. The FDA is also stating they feel it is safe to continue injecting this vaccine!

My previous comments and posted concerns which were ALL DELETED were statements from former scientists who made and worked on many of America's vaccines and reportedly saw various Monkey and other Swine Virus genomes floating in those Vaccines as a result of using animals to culture portions of the Vaccines.

Thus the overlapping concern was that Vaccines laced with various Animal Virus's would stand a much greater chance of an Animal Virus that spreads across a species type giving birth to an entirely unique and very dangerous Human Virus which had never existed nor was the Human body adequately prepared to deal with. Hence cross species Virus's can be very lethal.

There is a tremendous amount of ignorance about this extremely dangerous oversight and practice. The recent cross species Rino-Virus H1N1 was a Bird-Pig-Human cross species virus. It was discovered later in Canada that Humans with H1N1 could directly give that Virus to Pigs (infect Pigs), however PIGS appeared to be UNABLE to directly infect HUMANS! This seems to indicate H1N1 possibly resulted from a poorly constructed Vaccine which promoted and produced a cross species Virus.

The Canadian Health study appears to also directly contradict the possibility and validity of Dr. Gupta's reporting patient one becoming infected from a Pig Farm a week before the H1N1 outbreak in Mexico City, Mexico.

The H1N1 flu virus, germ warfare or a lab accident?

Several months ago I had suggested and commented on the possibility the H1N1 flu virus came out of a science laboratory with questionable purposes. My suggestions and comments were entirely deleted in the CNN Anderson Cooper and Dr. Gupta's blogging networks.

Today, Dr. Shanta Zimmer and Dr. Donald Burke of the University of Pittsburg released their careful study of the Genetic Origin of the H1N1 virus and found it was NEARLY IDENTICAL to frozen laboratory samples of a 1950 influenza A virus but different from both 1947 and 1957 frozen influenza A strain samples. Their finds were also published in the highly regarded New England Journal of Medicine.

Their Genetic Origin finding strongly suggests the 1977 Swine Flu Virus HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY PRESERVED IN A SCIENCE LAB DEEP-FREEZE since being collected in 1950.

And as population immunity waned and disappeared, suddenly this frozen 1950 H1N1 influenza A virus was released.

That was precisely what I had suspected and had previously attempted to comment on, go figure!

In guarded comments, Dr's Shanta Zimmer and Donald Burke state 'this was probably an accidental release from a science laboratory source'.

However in the Mexico City H1N1 outbreak, it is a safe bet that ABSOLUTELY NO SCIENCE LAB anywhere in MEXICO had any frozen samples of the 1950 H1N1 influenza A virus. The high mortality rate of teenagers in Mexico City brought a great deal of political pressure onto President Obama by the Republican Party members to immediately CLOSE THE MEXICO-AMERICAN BORDER. President Obama stood strong against that political pressure and refused to immediately close the entire Mexico-American border.

The H1N1 virus outbreak in Mexico City which killed a large number of relatively young and healthy Hispanic people appears to not be an accident and the sudden aggressive outbreak appears to have a known Republican political objective of having the US Federal Troops secure the Mexico-American border.

I am a Farang (Foreigner) living in Bangkok.
I am very angry at this time.
Why are you asking people to send in video footage of the current crisis.
This is both irresponsible and dangerous, even if you ask people not to put themselves at risk.
If the government blocked I Report, it would probably be to stop people from putting themselves in possible danger. Not for any of the reasons that Mr Barnett gave.Twitter and Facebook yada yada this is a real and dangerous situation.

Is today's DOW drop of 376 points and 3.60% a market correction or something far worse?

While that question is entirely going to be answered as the overseas and Shanghai Market opens up later today, it does appear that Wall Street insiders have likely been told that Greece's and Europe's economy problems with the Euro is reaching a flash point. This lead to a sudden realization that over 95% of the existing stocks being floated were OVERVALUED and that brought on a very large sell-off.

Interestingly Germany enacted my recommendations in a surprise move yesterday to ban naked short trading. Short trading is essentially placing a stock bet that item is going to fall or fail. Naked short trading does not require the buyer to pony up the money upfront of the purchase, only when the trade closes at that session or if that trade rises pass that investors risk point.

More often the naked short trading strategy is entirely accurate and they make money while not being forced to initially have a large amount of money invested in that bet. This strategy wreaked utter havoc with the Russian stock exchange and recently in the demise of Greece's economy where huge investment firms determined that Greece's national debt was greatly over extended and largely bet short on Greece's economic success. Essentially betting that Greece would FAIL.

Even with the recent transfusion of Billions of Euros by America, Germany and other country's to Greece in a last gasp effort to artificially prop up Greece's economy, it appears the short trading firms have largely eaten up that bubble and are continuing to weaken Greece and the Euro's inherent worth it is attached to.

With the current mass sell-off and liquidity of many seasoned investors seeking CASH. The long term projected growth in Europe was previously very small at 1%, and just as likely that is either going to drop to ZERO or a negative growth rate in the long term projected growth!

Again, if the sell off of the worlds stock markets continue overseas tonight then this downturn is more than a large market correction.

Investors appear to be very wary of the actual value of the world's currency such as the Euro, the Yen, the Dollar. This explains the large push in the prices of Gold recently and the devaluation of the Euro.

While the considerable diplomatic skills of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appears to have settled down South Korea's response to North Korea allegedly firing a torpedo at a South Korean warship, sinking it and killing several sailors, South Korea has moved to a psychological war response.

Despite repeated North Korean warnings, South Korea has begun broadcasting defection propaganda thru speakers, radio stations and bill boards mounted on the massive border crossing.

North Korea has specifically stated they would fire their artillery at any border crossings that have speakers blasting defection propaganda from. Obviously with the sudden drop in the North Korean currency and the Asian Stock Markets, this is seen as a serious development.

It is entirely likely North Korea will indeed fire their artillery on border crossings that have active speakers promoting North Korean civilians to defect to South Korea. China is urging patience, however thanks to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, South Korea has time on her side.

Will North Korea blink, or open up with her artillery at the billboards and speakers on the border crossings promoting defection to South Korea

Your question "How young is too young?" is like how long is a piece of string? It depends on the child. Some are old beyond their years, they are calm and thoughtful and have experience, while others are playful idiots!

As an American living in Sardegna, the island next to Corsica. I used to enjoy CNN. However, I find it hard to watch a news program which is so one-sided. I now understand why the ratings for CNN are in the toilet, because the truth is usually not present in the story. I watched Gorani's program on the AZ Immigration Law which was so one sided: she did not present the law as it is written. Instead she stated that the law would lead to profiling. This is the problem with CNN, it is one sided. The fact are simple: Illegal is illegal. As an American living in Sardegna; if I do not have my paperwork, I will be removed: also no health care or any other benefit. The American public wants the laws enforced, the federal governement has another agenda, so the laws are not enforced. CNN and Gorani also have an agenda and because of this one-sided view point and the fact that you do not report the truth, your viewing audience continues to grow smaller as each day passes. Just report the news correctly without the bias, and maybe you will get more viewers.

It is sorry to hear that cnn, a champion of free voice, has 'agreed' to let reporter Nasr go for posting her opinion and speaking out her mind. It appears to be a double standard to promote freedom in the world but releasing your own reporter for making a free choice and speaking.

cnn do the right thing and post this comment.
