And what about SEC closed eyes on Madoff's virtual transactions?

If justice department had an extradition deal with God then it would be OK. That way you would get him back to keep him in jail after his death.

I'm quite sure patsies of his ponzi scheme must be hoping that he stay alive to serve at least 1% of sentencing.

Wahts wrong with the US supporting a group of latin american dictators. What the Hondurans did was just kick out a president that wasnt respecting our cosntitution.........Us,the people of Honduras feel free and happy with Zelaya out of our country!!! God Bless Honduras!!!!

I find it laughable that Madoff calls it an "error in judgment". No, an error in judgment is wearing black sock with sandals, not swindling people out of their live savings. He is delusional!! Good riddance to him!

PRINCE EDISON   June 29th, 2009 7:23 pm ET

HE DESERVES MORE THAN THIS SENTENCE FOR HIM TO HAVE SET UP SUCH A HIGH SCALE FRAUD 419 SCHEME AND RIP OFF INNOCENT GULIBLE PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD. MADDOF IS NUMBER ONE FRAUDSTER IN THE WORLD. I URGE THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT TO ALSO SENTENCE HIS ACCOMPLICES.
