This is what happens when a nation allows foreginers in their land. Israelis seem to have forgotten the 1940s.
I am not fund of suicide bombers (simply just not the way forward), but it clearly shows the desperation of a nation being slowily invaded under the eyes of all of us. Shame on us for allowing this.

The two state solution is not only important for only for peace in middle east but also for the whole world.

Because these issues like palestine and kashmir has generated extremist in the religion around the world. If you want to defeat the extremist and terrorist , then it is very important to get quick solution of these conflicts.

2 states in Peace is better than one state at war

Md. Aseer Jubair Khan Majlish.   May 19th, 2009 10:37 am ET

Science my childhood as a Muslim I had only one dream that is free and sovereign Palestine. Not only me this is the dream of every Muslim. But, as Israel is much more powerful than the Muslim world and has the support of the western world it is better to agree with the two state theory. Again I don’t want that this as a cause of Third world war. Still we have to go a long way. The Israeli government has begun to understand the sentiment of the Muslim people. Islam is not a religion of terrorists; Islam is a religion of piece and prosperity.

Davidson,

When the Jews were kicked out of their land by the Romans, many were desperate.

They committed suicide en-masse but didn't murder others in the process.

For generations since, Jews have been tortured, massacred, expelled etc leaving most extremely desperate, but none has resorted to suicide bombing.

Suicide bombing has little to do with desperation and more to do with honour or the brainwashed excitement of 70 virgins awaiting.

War not over. Till Tamils get a seperate state war will continue. With Srilanka, Srilankan Government automatically created a Tamil state. The two communities never ever unit. Separate state is only the solution.

Singhalese are celebrating in Colombo. But over fifty thousands tamils are still burning. When we reach our goal then war is over. Only solution is Tamil Eelam. Tamil never ever live under one roof with singhalese. Singhalese saluted Tamils inhumanly.

The two state solution in resolving the isreali \palestinian crisis is the only way in putting an end to the carnage and bloodshed that have been the hallmark of the region. Hardliners on both side of the divide should note that in the long run peace is better than violence induced by short term political considerations

The war in Sri Lanka is obviously over. There is no possibility to emerge another terrorist group in Sri Lanka for 30 -40 years.

If one would look at it logically and scientifically, the survival of any terrorist organization will depend three main points.

1. A figure head / leader who is on the ground to lead the military / guerrilla activities.
2. Acceptance for the leader and his mechanism by the people who are in the area.
3. A mechanism to fund the organization.

LTTE has lost the first two elements completely and the funding mechanism is also collapsed more than 90% during the late stages of the fightings. Although there would be people outside the country who would support and willing to fund, without the first two elements its impossible that LTTE will make any kind of impact on the national integrity of Sri Lanka.

If the leader is no more, there can’t be followers who would sacrifice themselves for nothing. This is the general Sri Lankan mentality. When the leader of the Sinhalese extremist and terrorist group JVP was killed, JVP lost his military struggle over night.

Also, if the leader is not amongst them or in the country then too the possibility of establishing, maintaining or re establishing any kind of rebel group has proven impossible.

In this case, the leader whom some of the Tamils thought is successful in military activities have failed. And have failed miserably. At the loosing stages it was very clear that the leader whom they thought is their survivor acted as their murderer. There were many innocent Tamil civilians who were shot dead when they wanted to seek “life” from brutality. It was now very clear to them that what actually happened was their so called leader used them to his and his disciples’ well being. Prabakaran, his family, his close friends (who were also leaders) and their families lived luxury lives at the expense of the sufferings of innocent Tamils. It’s now very obvious to those who lived in that area, who might have supported LTTE at one stage thinking LTTE was their salvation, that they have a better life without LTTE. All Sri Lankans will have a better life without LTTE.

Sri Lankan forces, specially the Army Commander will be carrying out a short and long term strategic plan for sustainable security of the country. The forces are planning to double up their man power even after the war to face any possible threat in the future. With the global trends, the support from the friendly countries, the strength of the forces and it’s amazing experience it’s very obvious that any kind of terrorist organization can’t emerge in Sri Lanka for the next 30-40 years.

I found these two comments from two of our fellow Sri Lankan Tamils which is very interesting and true. Sinhalese must recognize Tamils as fellow Sri Lankans have all rights of any Sinhalese will have in Sri Lanka and Tamils too must not hesitate to insist and enjoy their rights as Sri Lankans. If we don’t act together we all will fail.

1..Today, when I see those innocent Tamils, crossing over to “life”, my eyes fill with tears, wishing that my parents would have done that, years ago.
As a person who believes in God, I know that not a single LTTE leader, or a terrorist, or a supporter, or a sympathizer, or a fund raiser, or a propagandist would survive “hell”, because for 30 years they gave us and every Sri-Lankan, nothing but “hell”.
2. My dear brothers,
We Tamils need to realize the truth that Eelam was just a mirage and that LTTE was the most horrible thing that ever happened to us. If you are enjoying a comfy life in west you will never realize, but if you come to Sri-Lanka and visit the IDP camps you will comprehend what our own Tamils in North & East went through with your treasured freedom fighters.
We dont need an Eelam. We are Tamils in Sri-Lanka, where great Tamils like Murali, Lakshman Kadiragamar and Dr.Neelan Thiruchelvam were born.
