Please, I urge people to take precautions against swine flu. By simply carrying tissues/hankies and a hand sanitising gel and using these items effectively we can decrease the spread of this and similar illnesses. Whilst a case of flu would only mildly affect a healthy adult, it can be serious or even fatal for the elderly, the very young and those with an otherwise weakened immune system. Swine flu has also caused people's education to be interrupted or spoiled special holiday plans. It is a simple and non-costly step to take, and is part of being generally hygenic and courteous.

International community should not interfere with Sri lankan affairs, as we have suffered enough during the last 30 years. How would you feel if the Iraqi government forces have cornered alquida, and on the verge of winning, international governments are saying have a ceasefire. How would you feel. LTTE are the most dangerous terrarist group in the world. Every body aggrees with that. LTTE have refused all the peace talks so far. Enough is enough.
