The understanding of 'bonuses' is that its given when one does a good job. The AIG Executives did a bad job. There should be a 'negative bonus" So they need to pay not receive one.

The 'retention' fee should be paid back by those that left anyway.

Could someone please change the picture at the article "Czech Republic cancels missile defense vote"? It is kinda embarasing for CNN to mistake NATO Secretary General Scheffer for Czech Prime Minister Topolanek.

Is AIG the only company that gives their executives bonuses? I don't think that.
The wages of the executives,CEO or managers are probably 50 or 100 times more then the normal work people.Lay off the executives, Ceo and managers and give the workpeople back there jobs.
Those 50 or 100 people can then go to work and spend money ,so the economy gets a boost.
Send the white collar criminals to the Modoff Inn at Guantánamo.

Bye bye from Belgium
